What do you bring to Keypath Education as Chief Financial Officer?
I have a proven track record of leading high performing teams in operational finance and strategy through periods of significant opportunity and change in high growth companies. I have successfully led FP&A teams through multiple acquisitions, including the sale of EmbanetCompass to Pearson in 2012, and the sale of Trilogy Education by 2u in 2019.

What is the best lesson you’ve learned in business?
I have had the great fortune to work with so many incredibly talented people (including some who work at Keypath!). I believe in the importance of staying close to the operations particularly in finance, because numbers are less meaningful without the perspective that comes from knowing the business.

What excites you about higher education?
The mission of higher education is to change the lives of the students we work with by proving opportunities, tools, and motivation to allow them to be successful in their goals to earn a degree, and find a fulfilling career.  My life was changed multiple times by education, and so love the chance to pay that forward to others.  Also the people who work in education are passionate, smart and caring, making education a fantastic place to work.

What is the one hobby you couldn’t live without?
I have many interests, but most of all I enjoy fixing things with as many tools as possible!

“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.”

Mark Twain
