Who: Craig Stanley, PhD, Florida State University; Steve Fireng, CEO, Keypath Education; Cindy Wheatley PhD, Keypath Education
When: Thursday, Oct 12, 1:45-2:30 pm EST

Join Fireng, Wheatley and Stanley as they discuss the rapidly changing expectations of online course delivery. Today, just offering degree programs online is no longer enough. Universities must continually innovate their course delivery and student services to keep pace with the rapid proliferation of online programs and changing student expectations. This transformation in higher education is challenging the existing structures in place, even for those that were early adopters of distance education.
Keeping Pace with the Rate of Change in Online Higher Education will explore these themes and more, including:
- Data on the rapidly expanding online landscape in the US
- Balancing faculty and student expectations
- The importance of a student-centered program development process
- The evolving business model and future of higher education
- Developing fruitful partnerships to grow online enrollment
“This is an exciting, challenging time for university leaders. After decades of stagnation in higher education, the 21st century brought rapid change because of technology and schools’ willingness to use it to deliver education. Now, we’re at a crossroads where universities have to do more than deliver their programs online in order to truly meet student expectations. Without the right partner, it can be difficult to know where to start,” said Fireng.
